Schedule Planning

The daily and weekly work of your thesis is extremely dependent on your particular research question. Please sketch out a timeline for your project. For example:

• Week 3: Figure out interfacing with data set
• Week 5: Apply existing algorithm to data
• Week 6: Complete novel algorithm
• Week 7: Do initial tests of novel algorithm
• Week 10: Have data from side-by-side tests

It is unlikely that you will stay on track, but it will give us a basis for discussing the progress you are making. Midway through the semester, you will revise.
