Elevator Pitch

You may think elevator pitches are for entrepreneurs, but they are important for researchers, too! Imagine you are at the coffee break at a conference, and you start chatting with another student. They ask, "what are you working on?" You should respond with a concise explanation of what question(s) you want to answer, why, and how you plan to go about doing it.

Please come to class with a several sentence elevator pitch describing your hypothesis and methods. Feel free to fill in the blanks:

I am interested in understanding [insert your question here]. This is interesting because [insert your motivation here]. My plan is to [insert your methods here].
