CS 702 - Posters
Information on creating a poster for your senior thesis:
- Use PowerPoint (installed in MBH 632) or Adobe Illustrator (installed in MBH 116/117)
- The width of the paper is 42". If you use PowerPoint, the maximum paper length is 56".
- Size and layout (portrait / landscape) are up to you. Check out the posters in MBH 632 for ideas.
- Leave 1" margins. If you use the full width in PowerPoint (56"),
make sure no textbox is closer than 2" to the right border.
- Make sure the title and your name are prominently displayed.
You should also list the name of your adviser.
- Come up with a clean layout. Avoid cramming in too much text or too much information.
- Your poster should make sense by itself, but should also be helpful if you had to explain
your work to someone.
